Dr. Pik Sha Chan-Uy earned her Bachelor’s Degree (magna cum laude) in Medical Technology at the University of Santo Tomas in 1985. She then obtained her medical degree from the UST College of Medicine in 1990. Dr. Pik Sha Chan-Uy completed the Residency Program in Ophthalmology at the Philippine General Hospital in 1994.
She went on to complete a fellowship in Medical and Surgical Retina at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics in 1998. She has the distinction of being the first graduate to complete the Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus fellowship program at the world-famous Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary of the Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Pik Sha Chan-Uy has recently been invited to lecture at the International Society of Ophthalmology meeting in Hong Kong. She has also contributed to several journal articles and book chapters to medical literature.
