Dr. Richard Nepomuceno is a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist who specializes in Advanced Cataract and Lasik Surgery, Corneal transplantation, and External Eye Diseases. He ensures that his patients quickly enjoy clear vision, which in turn boosts the patient’s day-to-day productivity, and allows them to once again enjoy life’s activities with the people they love.
Dr. Richard Nepomuceno obtained his medical degree from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine. After being awarded Most Outstanding Ophthalmology Intern at the University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital, he completed his Ophthalmology residency at the same institution. This was followed by an External Eye Disease fellowship at the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, UP-Philippine General Hospital and another fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery at the Jules Stein Eye Institute, University of California, Los Angeles, USA.
He is a board-certified ophthalmologist and is a Fellow of the Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology. He is also a Fellow of the Philippine Cornea Society. He is a member of various medical societies here and abroad including the Asia Corneal Society, Philippine Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and a former officer of the Philippine Cornea Society.
